Direct Billing

We offer direct billing to most major insurance providers, ICBC, and WorkSafeBC to make your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Direct Billing Made Easy at Allied Physio Health Group

At Allied Physiotherapy Health Group, we want your experience to be as smooth and stress-free as possible—starting with how you pay. That’s why we offer direct billing to most major insurance providers, ICBC and WorkSafeBC (WCB), saving you time and out-of-pocket expenses.

What is Direct Billing?

Direct billing allows our Physiotherapy Clinics to invoice your insurance provider directly for your physiotherapy, RMT, acupuncture and chiropractor treatments. Instead of paying the full amount upfront and submitting a claim yourself, we do it for you. That means less paperwork and faster reimbursement—or no payment at all if your coverage is 100%.

ICBC

If you have an ICBC claim, we are proud to offer no user fees for any approved claims! This means no out of pocket expenses for your ICBC injury. We direct bill for the following treatments with automatic approval within the first 12 weeks of your date of injury: Physiotherapy (25 Sessions), Chiropractic Care (25 Sessions), Registered Massage Therapy (12 Sessions), Kinesiology and Active Rehab (12 Sessions), TCM Acupuncture (12 Sessions), and Clinical Counselling (12 sessions).

WorkSafeBC

If you have been injured in a workplace accident, we offer direct billing to WorkSafeBC (WCB) for all approved claims for Physiotherapy, Chiropractic Care and TCM Acupuncture. This means no out of pocket expenses or user fees for any of the above treatments!

What You Need to Bring

To set up direct billing for an extended medical plan, please bring your insurance card (with policy and ID number). We’ll handle the rest!

If you have an ICBC or WorkSafe BC claim, please bring your claim number and date of injury. We recommend contacting our Client Care Team with your date of injury so we can confirm your coverage prior to your first appointment.

Important Notes

  • Coverage amounts vary by provider and plan. We recommend checking your policy details before your appointment.
  • If your provider only covers a portion of the cost, you’ll be responsible for the remaining balance at the time of service.
  • Occasionally, claims may not be processed in real-time. In such cases, you may need to pay upfront and get reimbursed once the claim is approved.
